Saturday tradition

Saturdays are super!! While we are waiting for the upcoming, we are posting photos from the previous one! As we have already mentioned in previous posts, every Saturday morning Evelyn and I are going for shopping, coffee-ing and other girl stuff (manicure, pedicure, hair dresser's etc)! This is our little tradition that we keep following for many years! So, have a look at our photos and feel free to share any comments. Sharing your ideas/hobbies/habits for Saturday mornings happily accepted!! :)

Τα Σάββατα είναι σούπερ!! Όσο περιμένουμε για το ερχόμενο Σάββατο, ποστάρουμε φωτογραφίες από το προηγούμενο! Όπως σας έχουμε αναφέρει και σε προηγούμενα posts, κάθε πρωί Σαββάτου η Έβελυν κ γω πηγαίνουμε για ψώνια, καφέ και άλλα γυναικεία πράγματα (μανικιουρ, πεντικιουρ, κομμωτήριο κλπ)! Αυτή είναι μια μικρή παράδοση που ακολουθούμε εδώ και χρόνια! Οπότε, ρίξτε μια ματιά στις φωτογραφίες και μοιραστείτε μαζί μας τα σχόλιά σας. Ιδέες/χόμπυ/συνήθειες για το Σάββατο αποδεκτά με χαρά!! :)

Gps girls traveled to Kalavryta!! We had a great time with our friends! In case you haven't heard of Kalavryta is an excellent place for skiing, although none of us is a keen skier! However, we enjoyed the lovely coffee shops, the bars and the local market! Soon to upload a photo with our buys from there!! For now, you can have a look to the photos capturing our Saturday-morning-visit to Kalavryta under a great sun (...with teeth!! hehe that is a greek expression about the chilly weather with a sunshine)!!

Gps girls ταξίδεψαν στα Καλάβρυτα!! Περάσαμε τέλεια με τις φίλες μας! Σε περίπτωση που δε γνωρίζετε τα Καλάβρυτα είναι ένας καταπληκτικός προορισμός για σκι, αν και καμιά μας δεν είναι δεινή skier! Παρ'όλα αυτά απολαύσαμε τις όμορφες καφετέριες, τα μπαράκια και την τοπική αγορά! Σύντομα θα ανεβάσουμε φωτογραφία με τα ψώνια από εκεί! Για τώρα, μπορείτε να δείτε τις φωτογραφίες από τη βόλτα το πρωί του Σαββάτου στα Καλάβρυτα κάτω από τον ήλιο (..με δόντια!!)

T for Tights

Hellooooo!! It's been a while since you had our news! We were off for holidays but now we are back wearing our tights...Evelyn chose a pair of blue-leopard tights, while I decided to wear these geometric tights. Go through the pictures and let us know what you think!!

Γεια σαςςςς!! Έχει περάσει λίγος καιρός από την τελευταία φορά που ακούσατε νέα μας! Λείπαμε για διακοπές αλλά τώρα γυρίσαμε φορώντας τα κολάν μας...Η Έβελυν επέλεξε ένα ζευγάρι μπλε-λεοπάρ κολάν, ενώ εγώ διάλεξα ένα κολάν με γεωμετρικό print. (Low-bugdet) Leather

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope our post finds you happy! Well, we are still busy, but we shouldn't complain..The only bad thing is that we haven't managed yet to take photos with ourselves wearing new garments of our closets! But keep visiting us! Soon we will have a special post! :)

For now, we thought that a post with low-budget leather goodies is more than essential! Leather is never out of fashion, but this season we found many different ideas, like leather effect skirt and T-shirt with leather sleeves. Take a look and get inspired!

Γεια σαςςς!!!!!!!! Ελπίζουμε το post μας να σας βρίσκει καλά και χαρούμενες! Εμείς είμαστε πολύ απασχολημένες, αλλά δεν πρέπει να παραπονιόμαστε...Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι δεν καταφέραμε ακόμα να τραβήξουμε φωτογραφίες με μας να φοράμε τα καινούρια κομμάτια της ντουλάπας μας! Αλλά συνεχίστε να μας επισκέπτεστε! Σύντομα θα έχουμε ένα ιδιαίτερο post! :)

Για τώρα, σκεφτήκαμε ότι ένα post με οικονομικά δερμάτινα καλούδια είναι παραπάνω από απαραίτητο! Τα δερμάτινα δεν είναι ποτέ εκτός μόδας, αλλά αυτή τη σεζόν βρήκαμε διάφορες καινούριες ιδέες, όπως μια δερμάτινη φούστα με πιέτες και ένα T-shirtμε δερμάτινα μανίκια. Ρίξτε μια ματιά και εμπνευστείτε!

Military seems to be a constant trend.. Hardly can we remember a season that it wasn't super cool to wear it! Well, we found some cute, low budget looks. Army is not always a men's issue! Agree??

Το στρατιωτικό look είναι συνεχώς στη μόδα..Με δυσκολία μπορούμε να θυμηθούμε κάποια σεζόν που δεν ήταν super cool να το φορέσεις! Έτσι, βρήκαμε κάποια ωραία και οικονομικά looks. Ο στρατός δεν είναι πάντα αντρική υπόθεση! Συμφωνείτε??

How much do you love this trend?? We adore studs (probably we have mentioned that before)! You can find studs everywhere, on shoes, on purses, on shirts, on tights.. Choose those that make you feel better and prettier! That's what we did and here's a random snap of one look!

P.S. (of minor significance!!): Do you believe as we do that men dislike this trend??? But why...??? Tell us what you think!!!

Navy blue

Evelyn hasn't uploaded the pictures from the wedding she attended, but I've got some (really cute) photos of hers posing at Paros (again)!! And the best choice for a greek island is navy.. A maxi dress with navy print is what Evelyn wore and looks really pretty, what do you think??

Η Έβελυν δεν ανέβασε τις φωτογραφίες από το γάμο που πήγε, αλλά έχω κάποιες (πολύ όμορφες) φωτογραφίες της που ποζάρει στην Πάρο (πάλι)!! Και η καλύτερη επιλογή σε ένα ελληνικό νησί είναι το ναυτικό στυλ.. Ένα μακρύ φόρεμα με navy print είναι αυτό που φόρεσε η Έβελυν και δείχνει κουκλίτσα, τι λέτε??

We 've already mentioned  how hot the weather is here...Despite the 35C, the wind today ruined our plans of tanning! So as an alternative we grabbed a coffee @Politia, a great suburb of Athens..Take a look and tell us what how your Saturday morning was..

Σας έχουμε ήδη πει πόσο ζεστός είναι ο καιρός εδώ..Παρόλο τους 35C, ο δυνατός αέρας χάλασε τα σχέδιά μας για μαύρισμα! Ώς εναλλακτκή, ήπιαμε το καφεδάκι μας στην Πολιτεία, προάστιο των Αθηνών..Ρίξτε μια ματιά και πείτε μας πως ήταν το δικό σας σαββατιάτικο πρωινό..

There is this great trend, the tribal one..We are going to post some ethnic garments of our heart and soon you'll see the tribal pieces of our wardrobe..

Keep it casual..

Athens from the top. So, today we decided to capture our outfits from the top...We picked casual looks. Giota wore the mint pants, a vintage shirt and ballet flats, while I chose green pants, the TOMS shoes and a jacket.

Η Αθήνα από ψηλά. Σήμερα αποφασίσαμε να τραβήξουμε φωτογραφίες στα ψηλά...Διαλέξαμε χαλαρά looks. Η Γιώτα φόρεσε φυστικί παντελόνι, ένα vintage πουκάμισο και μπαλαρίνες, ενώ εγώ διάλεξα πράσινο παντελόνι, τα TOMS και ένα σακάκι.

Transforming All-star

Given the financial situation in Greece, we thought it would be good to give some ideas of transforming pieces you already have in your wardrobe. It's so easy to make your old all-star sneakers look like they are new...and so unique!

Λαμβάνοντας υπόψιν μας την οικονομική κατάσταση στην Ελλάδα, σκεφτήκαμε ότι θα ήταν καλό να δώσουμε μερικές ιδέες για μεταποίηση σε κομμάτια που ήδη έχετε στη ντουλάπα μας. Είναι τόσο απλό να κάνετε τα παλιά σας all-star να μοιάζουν με καινούρια!....Και τόσο ιδιαίτερα!

Blue heels

Blue. We loved these blue heels, so we decided that we both should wear them in a different way (I should confess that my size it's bigger and I can hardly stand! This explains my funny poses!)! Evelyn wore her jeans, an orange top and her cute coat. I wore mint pants and a mint T-shirt paired with a jeans vest.

Μπλε. Αυτές τις μπλε γόβες τις λατρέψαμε, οπότε αποφασίσαμε να τις φορέσουμε και οι δυο με διαφορετικό τρόπο (Πρέπει να ομολογήσω ότι το νούμερό μου είναι μεγαλύτερο, οπότε με το ζόρι στεκόμουν! Αυτό εξηγεί και τις αστείες πόζες μου)! Η Έβελυν φόρεσε το τζην, μια κοραλί-πορτοκαλί μπλούζα και το χαριτωμένο καμπαρντινάκι. Εγώ φόρεσα ένα φυστικί παντελόνι και ένα φυστικί T-shirt συνδυασμένο με ένα τζην γιλέκο.

Polka dots - Part C

POLKA DOTS. For our last post about polka dots, we chose a glamorous outfit for Evelyn and a casual one for me. Evelyn wore a leather skirt and a peter pan collar shirt. I wore my jeans and a knit jacket with polka dot print. Choose whatever fits to your personal style and you are ready to go!

ΠΟΥΑ. Για το τελευταίο μας post σε σχέση με το πουά, επιλέξαμε ένα glamorous ντύσιμο για την Έβελυν και ένα πιο χαλαρό για μένα. Η Έβελυν φόρεσε μια δερμάτινη φούστα και ένα πουκάμισο με peter pan γιακά. Εγώ φόρεσα το τζην μου και μια πουά ζακέτα. Διαλέξτε ό,τι ταιριάζει στο προσωπικό σας στυλ και είστε έτοιμες για έξω!

A Saturday morning in the city

So, here we are on a sunny Saturday morning..We decided to have a quick coffee before we get to the beach!! Evelyn (the brunette!) chose to wear a fabulous yellow shirt, her jeans and these colorful espadrilles..While I (the blondie!) wore these green pants, a simple white T-shirt and a vest...
So, summer is here!!! Go for it!!!

Να 'μαστε λοιπόν αυτό το ηλιόλουστο πρωινό Σαββάτου..Αποφασίσαμε να πάμε για ένα γρήγορο καφεδάκι πριν ξεχυθούμε στις παραλίες!!! Η Έβελυν επέλεξε να φορέσει αυτή την υπέροχη κίτρινη πουκαμίσα, το τζην της και τις πολύχρωμες εσπαντρίγιες της..Ενώ εγώ φόρεσα το πράσινο παντελόνι μου, ένα απλό άσπρο μπλουζάκι και το γιλέκο...
Το καλοκαίρι ήρθε!!! Απολαύστε το!!!
